EXHIBITION AT THE NGO INTERNET FIESTA 99

Within the framework of the Exhibition and the Presentations on Stage the exhibitors, providers and users of already existing "information landscapes" in the Internet became "visible".
Regionally and internationally operating NGOs and NPOs, information platforms and communication networks active in the social field and in areas of environment, health, employment, ecology, city and regional planning as well as citizen services and community networks were invited. Online-access enabled exhibitors to introduce their internet activities to all those interested and guide them through their web sites. Moreover, visitors could surf the "cyberspace" on their own via internet surf stationsand visit web sites of the exhibitors - and the Internet-Fiesta - by using the provided link directory. One surf station, the "Quiz Station", was dedicated solely to those taking part in the Online Quiz of the European Internet Fiesta.
